Our Rainbow six division is constantly growing and always looking for new ways to keep the game interesting for our members. Not only do we play Quick Match, Unranked or Ranked day in, day out but we also hold a number of events a week.
Events
Throughout the week we hold numerous events, usually at the weekend so we can have a few drinks at the same time. Events such as Blind Siege, Settings Switch Scrim, regular 10 man scrims, Sledge Myers, strat roulette. These events are the cornerstone for what Seismic is all about and we take great pride in them.
Mentoring
Another event we hold is our bi-weekly mentoring sessions, where people who are of a lower rank or experience can learn the game in a healthy environment. Key points such as call-outs, basic attacking/defender strats, best operators to use for different site, gun attachments etc. We are currently doing two mentoring sessions per week, one on a Wednesday for the more advanced tips (aimed at silvers or golds) such as vertical gameplay or how to play properly within you 5 stack. And also on a Monday we hold Beginners Mentoring (aimed at those in copper or bronze or even if you've just bought the game) where you can learn the basics about all the operators, how best to use them, how to attack/ defend sites and the general do's/don'ts of Siege.
Tournaments
Over the past year we have rolled out numerous events. With every new season we hold a two week long wins tournament where members try to win as many ranked games as they can. Most recently a kills tournament of the same format. And of course, there are prizes to be won for the winners.

This year we have started to roll out a new set of tournaments for our Siege members. A new season means a new Tournament! This season we are hosting a Wins Tournament where members will try to win as many Ranked games as possible in a set time frame. This season our prizes pool is bigger than ever! 3 elite skins, Xbox game pass and r6 credits are all up for grabs!

Well people wanted the GTA V story after my Snapple Story so here we go.
This was little less than a year ago. It was May 2018 and I recently did a bunch of the doomsday heists (all on hard mode) so I was able to buy a bunch of stuff with it. Now in GTA V my friends and I were unlike most people. We preferred helping people rather than be toxic and kill people. We often helped out lower levels (unless they were little kids, in that situation we would talk to them about why they shouldn’t be playing this game and even talked to some parents who thanked us for insight on what their kids were actually playing. If the kids decided to fight, then we would immediately fight back) and killed/harassed people who were harassing them/others. We enjoyed the game and found it easier to enjoy the game by avoiding PvP, unless we were fighting each other, and banding together with randoms and do fun stuff, like fill a plane with 30 people and have everyone try and land perfectly on top of maze bank.
One day while we were playing and chatting about finals which had just ended we noticed this one guy lvl 73 kept killing a lvl 12 and the 12 wasn’t doing anything wrong. We hopped into game chat and heard the lvl 73 saying nasty stuff to the lvl 12 with his dad egging him on. We went back to party chat where I explained I will go ground team and game chat and take the kid head on while my two friends kept air patrol in party chat, one guy flying, the other manning the turrets.
I was ground team because I was the higher lvl 156 while they were lvls 100-120. I went back to game chat and got my barrage and rolled up on the kid. The dad had apparently left the room for a bit cause he wasn’t there during the beginning conflict. The kid was also dressed in a clown mask (important soon).
So people who read these stories like abbreviation so here’s the people involved. RNF- Red Neck Father (they were southern af), Zeebo- Clown kid/lvl73/RNF’s Kid (If anyone here has ever watched Are You Afraid of the Dark then you might know who zeebo is) Me- Stone Cold Steve Austin (actually important later on) and my friends who I call my bro’s are mentioned but they don’t talk in this story and neither does the lvl12, but they’re mentioned. Anyways onto the story.
I wasted no time in scouting out the area and rolled up on them. I pulled up right in between them and lasered Zeebo in the face with my AP Pistol. I received a nice loud WTF from him. He was respawning and I gave the lvl12 a thumbs up and told him I’m here to help and to get in the front gun seat, he would be safe there. I equipped my MKII Special Carbine (G36C) and went hunting. I’m about 10 kills into killing this kid when he starts throwing a fit.
Zeebo asked- Why do you keep killing me!!?!?!?

There were some other people with mics and we all mutually agreed to report him to rockstar and Microsoft. Then everyone just kinda went back to doing their own thing.
My bro’s were landing the avenger while the lvl12 came up to me. He didn’t have a mic but he gave me a thumbs up. I was happy to have helped him out. After we were done I decided to shoot him.................... an invite to do a heist so he could get himself some spending cash. Afterwards he thanked us for the help through Xbox messaging and then my friends and I went and played Battlefield.
A few days later my bro’s and I all received messages from Rockstar saying the kids account has been suspended due to recent actions and Xbox sent us a message the next day stating that they were thankful for our help in keeping the community safer and the accountant has been banned from Xbox live. All’s well that ends well.
Now I don’t remember the kids gt but I remembered the one from MW3 because of the experience, us calling the snappy kid a Snapple. I don’t remember this kids gt because it wasn’t that memorable or relevant to the situation/story.
Also before I go if anyone wants I have a couple Entitled Parents story from working as a lifeguard but surprisingly I have a lot more Entitled People stories from lifeguarding that can’t go on this sub so maybe someone can help me find a suitable place for those stories. Lastly I appreciate the upvotes and awards are kinda cool but please don’t give me awards. I don’t really care for them so save them for someone who does. Hey guys, I’m a 25 year old software developer living in the USA, eastern time zone. I’ve been slowly growing more and more bored between being told to work from home and avoid any social gatherings. I’ve been using games to pass a lot of the time but I can’t help but feel like it’d be more fun if I had some online friends to play and / or chat with.
I mainly play on PC although I also own an Xbox One and a Switch. My main game is League of Legends (I'm only Silver though), but I also enjoy other games like Hearthstone, GTA V, Destiny, Apex Legends, Pokemon, The Elder Scrolls, Bioshock, and The Witcher.

Summary: This is a list of about a dozen single-player PC games I play, many of them modded, to help folks with similar taste find other games they might like.
 
 
I’d recommend treating this like a mini-library/reference list of games and mods to check out if you like similar gaming experiences, and not as a detailed instructional guide on how to get the perfect x/y/z gaming setup. Because the mods and tweaks took me dozens of hours to set up, I'd recommend looking at this as something to explore, research, and try out bit by bit over weeks/months and NOT something to speed-mode buy+install over a weekend (because that's probably not humanly possible for one person).
 
 
If you just want to see the games + basic mod list, to give a sense of this is for you or not:

• I like visceral combat that feels a bit scary (for me). Both with guns and with swords/maces etc. in medieval/fantasy settings.
  
• I like strategy and managing virtual kingdoms.
  
• I also wanted a good driving game that let me customize cars and drive around cities (not just racetracks).
  
• I like role-playing as different kinds of characters, particularly ones I get to customize.
  
• I like engaging stories with interesting, compelling, and realistic (flawed, real motivations) characters – with some humour too occasionally.
  
• I like Dark Age/Ancient British/Celtic history, Lord of the Rings, and military sim or sim-like games.
  

 
 
If you play games for the challenge in and of itself (I beat a difficult thing!), to hard-core mode it, to do completionist stuff, to socialize, for action combat with combo abilities and flashy animations, this is probably not your bag, but power to you for liking all that stuff, it’s all cool and worthwhile, just doesn’t do it for me.

NMC Texture Pack (high res) along with Ojo Bueno	improve texture detail for items missed by the mods in Rika's guide	I put the base NMC texture pack mod above any other texture mods in Mod Organizer so it doesn't overwrite anything from Rika's guide, and Ojo Bueno directly after NMC texture pack.
Other notes: I left any LOD-specific mods unchecked when making the bashed patch.

GTA 5. Using VisualV + NaturalVision graphics mod. I’m using Fine-Tuned Felony and Response 2.4a to make law enforcement response tougher and tweak gunplay, combat, damage. Using RAGEuphoria 1.4 for ragdoll effects (I think this is at least partially included in Fine Tuned Felony, but wasn’t sure so added it anyway. I also added one of Realistic Weapon Sounds, the sound files only to make it compatible with Fine Tuned Felony and Response (i.e. didn’t overwrite any .meta files).

Medieval 2: Total War with Third Age Total War and Divide and Conquer Mods for Lord of the Rings in a Total War game. Can play as Bree, Dwarves, Dale, and that was enough to sell me on it. Of course Elves and Gondor and Rohan and Saruman and Mordor are all there too, Haradrim and others as well.

 

• Itches scratched: Strategy and managing, interest in Lord of the Rings.

 
 

Morrowind (Elder Scrolls 3). Using the Morrowind STEP Project plus I dumped in a ton of other texture mods from NexusMods Morrowind hub/site, without overwriting anything (i.e. I just hit skip instead of overwrite for any of the textures/meshes already added by the STEP Project.

 

• Itches scratched: Exploring a beautiful world, collecting, role-playing, engaging stories.

 
 

Mount and Blade: Warband. Using Brytenwalda mod, 1257 AD is pretty cool too, as is Floris (I think Expanded was what I played). There’s some cool Rome mods for it as well.

 

• Itches scratched: Visceral combat with swords and spears and stuff, strategy and managing, role-playing (specifically as the leader of a faction/kingdom/warband/group of mercenaries).

 
 

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 with the Vegas 2 Realism Mod (2.4.4) from ModDB. Also using Realistic Reshade mod. I’m also using a tweak to make bodies stay permanently, and it seems to be working so far. There can be a bit of wonkiness with the ragdolls but so far this setup is enjoyable. NOTE: Realism Mod makes the game a LOT harder, enemies can easily one-shot you if you’re not careful, enemy snipers are DEADLY. Not what I’d call relaxing, but it is fun.

Rome 2: Total War. Using the Divide et Impera mod, GBJ Blood Mod: The Revolution, New Lighting and Environments Mod from TheAztec, and Rome: Total War Music.

 

• Itches scratched: visceral combat with swords and spears and stuff (3rd person overview, not actually controlling an individual character, but looking at combat, especially replays, is intense), strategy and managing, Ancient history.

 
 

Skyrim. Using Belmont_Boy’s fantastic Ultimate Skyrim Overhaul, based around the also-fantastic Requiem Mod. The Ultimate Skyrim Overhaul is an instructional guide to installing a couple hundred mods as well as setting up Skyrim to run with them, along with a bringing-it-all-together-and-making-them-work-with-each-other patch. Running that with the Revenant ENB instead of Realvision ENB. Also using the combat mods update from Octopork and AngryPoliteGuy from the skyrimrequiem subreddit (using Vigor’s AI + injury tweaks + poise system + disable friendly fire, combat behavior improved for the 1st person block cancel, Requiem Enhancer for AI tweaks, as well as Deadly Combat Lite for preventing stagger-locking and the timed blocking feature). I also added a bunch of extra texture mods for the textures not covered by Ultimate Skyrim, but I won’t get into that unless someone requests it cause it’d take a long time and its just textures so you get a similar experience (and better performance) without them.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Using with Ghost Mode (combat and gameplay mod), brutal blood mod (changes blood effects), nitpicker’s patch for some gameplay tweaks and fixes, No Screen Water and No Dirty Lens effect to clean up the camera, HD Reworked for better textures, Common Eyes to make NPC eyes/faces/expressions look better and more realistic (this was a huge improvement for me). Also used mod + script merger to make sure there weren’t any conflicts (I don’t think any of these mods conflict with each other). Also Using Wiedzmin/Phoenix 8 lighting mod along with Natural Lighting and Scenery reshade for Wiedzmin. 2018.

Yakuza 0. A review. Haven’t actually played this yet, but thought I’d throw it in because it looks like an interesting story game with some humour and depth (I have it, just haven’t gotten into it yet).

League of Legends consists of three main maps, or "Fields of Justice." Each have different terrain, objectives and victory conditions, as well as varied summoner spells and items. A fourth map, the Crystal Scar, was discontinued.

League of Legends includes several game types players can select.[13][28]

The Tutorial is the first game type available to new players. The tutorial is played on the Howling Abyss and is intended to teach new players the rules and gameplay of League.
Co-op Vs. AI is available to new players after completing or opting out of the Tutorial. It is played on Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline, and (formerly) the Crystal Scar, and pits teams of human players against an opposing team of computer-controlled artificial intelligence champions.
Normal Matchmaking uses an automated match making system to pair teams of similarly-skilled players against one another.
Ranked Matchmaking is available to players upon reaching account level 30. It uses a similar system as Normal Matchmaking; however, pre-made teams must be of comparable ELO strength, so expert players and weak players are not allowed to team together in Ranked. After playing 10 or more Ranked games, accounts are given a public "rank" that roughly correlates with their ELO ranking.
Custom Games allow players to play any map with any combination of player or AI teammates and opponents.
League of Legends also includes three ways teams may choose what champion they will play for a given match:

Blind Pick allows the two teams to select their champions simultaneously. The players only learn the champion selections of the opposing team when the match begins. Draft Pick allows each team to ban five champions each (a total of ten champions banned), removing them from the match. Random Pick randomly assigns a champion to each player. Players accumulate re-rolls by playing multiple matches, which they can use to randomly select another champion for that match. It is available on Howling Abyss for ARAM (All Random All Mid) games, and for all modes in custom games.
